Along with the children, the adults also honored the event.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the events organized by \u201cAegle\u201d every year are Christmas, the cutting of the Vasilopita and the annual dance. Also, with splendor the Society celebrates the feast of Panormitis (Michael), the patron saint of the island and protector of sponge\u2019s divers all over the world. Also, every year \u201cAegle\u201d celebrates Easter, which is mainly addressed to the young children who constitute the nursery of the Syman community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As has been established in recent years, \u201cAegle\u201d celebrated Easter on Thomas\u2019 Sunday in the Saint Katherine hall with the participation of children, their parents, grandparents and other members and friends of the Society. Those who were present were offered traditional food and other delicacies, and the children, under the guidance of the adults and with music provided by Katerina Fygetaki, of Nisyrian origin, danced the traditional dances of their island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the children went to the church school\u2019s courtyard and playground looking for Easter eggs.
