socially, and the recognition of the linguistic diversity of the Greek language is fundamental to the educational process. The aim of this thesis is the study of the modern Greek idiom of Kassos and its utilization in teaching. The subject of the thesis is the description of the linguistic idiom of Kassos with emphasis on vocal, morphological characteristics of the idiom and its application in teaching to students of the 5th Grade of Kassos Primary School with the aim of removing stereotypes against Modern Greek dialects and the standard Greek language. Specifically, the study aims to provide a satisfactory linguistic description of the linguistic idioma of Kassos by referring to important linguistic phenomena, its vocal and morphological description, vocabulary and syntactic inscriptions, and finally, linguistic material with idiomatic words.
