Τα 200 χρόνια του Ολοκαυτώματος της Κάσου τιμά η Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών Δωδεκανήσου

Κάθε διετία η «Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών Δωδεκανήσου» πραγματοποιεί το Πολιτιστικό της Συμπόσιο σε διαφορετικό νησί της Δωδεκανήσου, και όπως προβλέπεται από την επισυναπτόμενη ανακοίνωση, το επόμενο 23^ο Συμπόσιο της ΣΓΤΔ θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Κάσο, από 27 – 30 Ιουνίου 2024, με την συμπλήρωση 200 χρόνων από το Ολοκαύτωμα της Ηρωικής Νήσου.

Γι’ αυτό συστήνουμε στους συμπατριώτες της Αμερικής που επιθυμούν να συμμετάσχουν στο Συμπόσιο, να έρθουν σε επαφή με την ΣΓΤΔ. Εκτός των Δωδεκανησίων, όπως συμβαίνει σε όλα τα Συμπόσια της ΣΓΤΔ, και άλλοι Έλληνες μπορούν να συμμετάσχουν στο Συμπόσιο, εφ’ όσον το θέμα τους έχει σχέση με τα Δωδεκάνησα ή και με τις δωδεκανησιακές παροικίες του εξωτερικού.    

Ακόμη και αυτοί που δεν θα μπορέσουν να παρευρεθούν στο Συμπόσιο, μπορούν να υποβάλουν την εργασία τους, η οποία θα δημοσιευθεί στην περιοδική επιστημονική έκδοση «Δωδεκανησιακά Χρονικά», που μετά από κάθε Συμπόσιο εκδίδει η ΣΓΤΔ. Όλοι οι προηγούμενοι τόμοι των «Δωδεκανησιακών Χρονικών» και των 41 Αυτοτελών Εκδόσεων της ΣΓΤΔ, βρίσκονται στην βιβλιοθήκη του Κογκρέσου και στο Queens College of New York City University.

The 200 years since the Kasos’ Holocaust the “Dodecanese Institute of Letters and Arts” will celebrate

Every two years the “Dodecanese Institute of Letters and Arts” holds its Cultural Symposium on a different island of the Dodecanese, and as foreseen by the attached announcement, the next 23rd Symposium will take place in Kasos, from June 27 – 30, 2024, with the completion of 200 years since the Heroic Island’s Holocaust.

That is why we recommend to the American compatriots who wish to participate in the Symposium, to get in touch with “Dodecanese Institute of Letters and Arts”. Apart from the Dodecanesians, as is the case in all the Symposia of the Institute, other Greeks can also participate in the Symposium, if their topic is related to the Dodecanese or to the Dodecanesian communities abroad.

Even those who will not be able to attend the Symposium, can submit their paper, which will be published in the scientific periodical “Dodecanese Chronicles”, which is published by Institute after each Symposium. All previous volumes of the “Dodecanese Chronicles” and the 41 Independent Editions of the Institute are in the library of Congress and Queens College of New York City University.
